     I have tried many of the video editing software's for my laptop. Some of them requires active internet connection (Eg: clipchamp ) or  requires any subscription ( premium , premium plus, pro )

By exploring, I have found some of  the excellent useful software's given as follows :

OPENSHOT:

 Openshot is the one of the best software. It's an excellent alternative to expensive programs with less requirements.

Compatibility : Windows 7 or Newer, Mac and Linux.

 

Disadvantage : Maybe Slow for some systems.

Advantage     : No watermark.

Movavi is best alternative for windows movie maker which is closed by 2017, it is very good software for beginners. Some features requires premium.

Compatibility : Windows and macOS.

Disadvantage : Limited video editing features.

      Filmora is the good editing software, it is user friendly for the beginners and it is easy to learn the video editing. Internet is required to install effects and transition for first time. Then it is used in offline.

Advantage     : Use many more  layers and effects

 Capcut is one of the best editing tools software for both android and windows, It software is user friendly, this software is first released for android mobiles ( apk version ) and now it  released for windows. Internet is required to install effects and transition for first time.

Advantage     : Many more  layers and effects
